Al-Ayn attracts the attention of participants at the first ‘International Conference for Children’ held in Najaf entitled "Children's Rights amid Law and Society - Reality and Ambition". The Director of the Al-Ayn branch in the province presented Al-Ayn’s 11-year journey, in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Religious, Academic and Governmental Figures.  The extensive work of the Foundation in supporting and sponsoring the families of orphaned children and displaced people in all Iraqi provinces was highlighted.

The speech included statistics on the Foundation’s health and education projects, a list of developmental and housing projects and facts and figures relating to the assistance provided by Al-Ayn to societies most vulnerable through its branches and offices inside and outside Iraq.

The aspirations of the Foundation were also revealed and its vision to provide further leisure opportunities for the orphaned children as well as support them in their rehabilitation to address the effects of their loss.

Al-Ayn's projects and achievements have earned the admiration of those who have praised its international presence and its ongoing participation in the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

The conference, which lasted for two consecutive days, culminated in joint recommendations to implement the goals that would aim to improve the reality of childhood for the better.
